Tedd is a qualified lawyer, academic, and consultant with over 15 years of transaction, advisory, strategy, and dispute resolution experience in energy, environment, climate change, technology, sustainable development, trade, and finance. He is also a board member and strategist in conservation, education, philanthropy, and technology ventures in sub-Saharan Africa, the UK, and the Middle East. He is currently a Researcher and Fellow at the University of Oxford focused on mitigating climate change through the transition to a low carbon economy. He advises diverse teams on law, policy, and regulation and is called upon to publish on environmental change themes. The local and practical aspects of his work include investigating the impact of law on various energy technologies and projects as well as the legal challenges of multi-scalar energy systems (mini, micro, and pico). He has research affiliations with the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London and has also taught and held various multi- disciplinary positions at the Universities of St. Andrews, Cape Town, Michigan, Dundee, and the London School of Economics.

Aled Jones joined FTSE Russell in November 2017 as Head of Sustainable Investing, Europe. Aled joined from Mercer’s Investment Consulting business where he was a Principal in the Global Responsible Investment team for a number of years. At Mercer, Aled worked closely with large European asset owners and investment firms supporting them on all areas of RI strategy development and implementation, as well as ESG research and portfolio and manager analytics. Prior to this, Aled managed the ESG integration activities of one of the UK’s largest public sector pension schemes, the London Pensions Fund Authority.
